The Man in the Glass

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to a mirror and look at yourself
And see what THAT man has to say.

For it isn't your father or mother or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.

Some people may think you a straight-shootin' chum
And call you a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.

He's the fellow to please, never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the man in the glass is your friend.

You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life
And get pats on your back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass.

Would you like to know what its like to be fully in the moment?

Just for a moment,
stop everything and read this...............

Do you know what it's like to be fully in the moment....?
In the here and now ...
with no internal dialogue or thoughts,

If thoughts come in, notice them... and let them go..... and just keep reading.......

Allow all the sights and sounds of your present moment to flood into your awareness.

Use your peripheral vision to notice the shapes and colours of those objects all around you.
To the front, left and right.

Now focus on something close to you, like these letters and words you are reading.......

How easily you can see minute details of colour and shape.
Keep looking at the smallest details........

And as you look at the detail, be aware of what is in your peripheral vision too.

Start to sense how you are experiencing this present moment only

Listen to the sounds that are around you..
Background noises. Hums, traffic outside maybe, the sound of your breathing

AND now turn your attention to the sensations you can feel on your body.
The flow of air on your skin. The temperature in the room. The weight of your body in the chair.

Be aware of your arms and shoulders.
Your fingers. Your neck and head. Your face.

How does it feel.............To be still, to be silent

There is only the now...the present moment....
What you can see. What you can hear. What you can touch and sense in your body.

What you can smell and taste.
Watching, hearing, sensing,

NOW, in the present moment only.

Elvis Lives

I think every Hypnosis show has to have a visit from Elvis, its almost compulsory!!

Are you one of those lucky ones ?

Have you ever won the Lottery ?

Can you Imagine what that would feel like ?

What if it was in Japan ?

Please feel free to comment

My first post(er)

As this is my first of my posts here, I thought I would at least show you how handsome I am, so that you can understand why I am such a wow with the ladies.

This was the first of the posters I had designed for my show, when I started in Stage Hypnosis, many moons ago, A friend of mine who is a brilliant Graphic Designer, helped by getting some great picture's and then took some miscellaneous action picture's from some previous shows and played about with some ideas.

Most of my Hypnosis shows start with the same introduction of :

" Ladies & Gentleman, Please give a warm welcome to the stage, your Hypnotist for this evening, the fabulously funny, superbly sexy, gigantuously gorgeous and deeply delusional Mr Stephen Mills",

I hope from that kind of introduction you can see that I do not take myself too seriously.

Thanks for reading

Keep Smiling
